Phone Message for the Week of 9.30.19

Good afternoon Deep Creek Families!  This is Mrs. Sare with a few messages for this week.  First, thank you for all of your support during our Otis Spunkmeyer school fundraiser.  If you have not turned your packet in yet, please send it in with your child on Monday morning.  This week launches our School Climate Survey.  Beginning tomorrow, Charlotte County Public Schools will send out an automated telephone message asking you to rate how likely you are to recommend our school to another family.  We hope that you consider participating in this survey so we can hear your feedback.  Students in grades 3-5 will complete a survey in their classroom as well.  On Tuesday, we will be hosting our second SAC and PTO meetings of the year at 5:30 pm in our Media Center.  We will be finalizing our School Improvement Plan and discussing many important events that are scheduled for the year.  We can't wait to see many of you there.  Tuesday also concludes our National Attendance Awareness Month.  Our students are eager to find out which grade level will take the championship belt for the month of September for having the highest percentage rate.  Arriving to school on time and remaining in their classrooms until the end of the day is so important to maximize every minute of learning.  Thank you for helping us instill great attendance habits in our Cubs.  Finally, be on the lookout for our digital newsletter that will be sent out this afternoon.  Enjoy the rest of your afternoon, and I look forward to seeing all of our Ready, Responsible, and Respectful Cubs bright and early tomorrow morning.
