Good afternoon Deep Creek Families. This is Assistant Principal, Mr. Vernon, with
two quick announcements. It is exciting
to announce that Mochi will be at our Family Reading Center this Wednesday,
October 10th. Mochi just happens to be
in the Guinness Book of World Records as being the dog with the longest
recorded tongue in history. Mochi and
her owner, Carla Rickert, will be at Deep Creek from 7:15AM until 8:25AM
meeting students and sharing a book that she wrote about her special dog. The second announcement is to save the date
of Thursday, October 18th. This evening
will be an Enchanted Book Fair Night at our school. Join us starting at 5:30PM for Book Fair
Shopping, a movie in the cafeteria, a special performance by Studio Seven
Dance, an October performance by the PGMS band, and other excitement. PTO will be selling hot dog combos that
night, so don't worry about dinner.
