Phone Message 9/8/19

Good afternoon to all of our Deep Creek Families.  We have many exciting things coming up this week.  This week will kick off our biggest PTO fundraiser of the year, the Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Fundraiser.  Information and a merchandise packet will be coming home this week.  Thursday our students will be attending a kick off presentation to explain all the selling instructions and possible prizes.  We thank you in advance for your assistance with this fundraiser.  The proceeds from our Fall Otis Fundraiser assist with so many activities and materials for our Cubs throughout the year.  Another exciting event is our Family Reading Center.   This Wednesday our Family Reading Center will be open starting at 7:00am.  Mrs. Skavroneck is excited to start sharing her books with our students.  The Family Reading Center will be open every Wednesday from 7:00am until 8:15am and students must come with an adult.  Once again, we want to send a reminder about attendance.  We have a goal to have an average daily attendance of over 96.5%, so we need our Cubs in school All Day, Every Day.  Please continue to help us with this goal and have your child in school.  Thank you for listening and I hope all of you enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
