Good afternoon Cub families, this is Assistant Principal, Mr. Vernon, with announcements for this week. We are continuing our year long fundraising effort to support Relay for Life with this week's Change for a Cause. Cubs are encouraged to bring change this week as the classes will compete against each other to see who can bring the most money. Part of the week long contest will be Red & Pink Day on Wednesday. Bring a dollar to donate to the cause and wear your favorite red or pink shirt. Uniform bottoms will remain the same. Next, I would like to bring your attention to an error in this year's students planners. The date off for President's Day is incorrect. President's Day is celebrated on Monday, February 19th. So there is no school on Monday, February 19th. We will see our Ready, Responsible, and Respectful Cubs tomorrow morning. Thank you for listening and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Good afternoon, I hope that you all are enjoying the weekend. I just have a few quick announcements for the upcoming week. I want to remind all of our families to again take the time to complete the Title 1 Parent Survey. The link for the survey is on the DCES website and the passcode for your student came home this Tuesday. Information gathered from this survey is very helpful in assisting us to continue improving our school, we thank you for taking the time to log on. Next, we are very excited about our Glow Run on Thursday, February 1st. We will have all pre-ordered shirts available starting at 5:30pm at our registration table in the courtyard. The run will start at 6pm and continue to 7pm. All t-shirts had to be pre-ordered, but students can still get a glow necklace and a race bib to participate for a $10 donation the night of the event. We will have the grill cooking with hot dog combos available and an Ice Cream truck will be here as well. Last, don't forget that there is a Teacher Work Day next Friday, February 2nd and students will not have school. I'm looking forward to seeing our Ready, Responsible, and Respectful Cubs tomorrow morning. Have a great evening.

Also on that letter is the pass code to gain access to the survey. Thank you for taking the time to help us improve.
